A safe and caring boating experience

  • Our aim is to provide a safe, friendly canal boating experience for people of all ages with disabilities and other special needs.
  • Available for hire April to October for day trips through the beautiful Douglas Valley. Start and finish times arranged to suit clients.
  • ‘The Rose’ is open plan with wheelchair access throughout, ramp entry and fully accessible toilet and shower. We are equipped for self-catering with galley and cooking facilities.
  • Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided free of charge.
  • Alternatively, meal stops can be arranged at your choice of attractive canal-side pubs.
  • Capacity - 12 passengers (including carers/personal assistants).
  • An experienced crew, trained in all aspects of boat operation is in attendance at all times to make your stay on board enjoyable and trouble free.
